August 20, 2002 was a historic day because Waroeng SS began spreading spicy on the west of GSP UGM, Yogyakarta with the concept of a tent shop. This first branch is open from 5pm - 10pm.
2002Waroeng SS expanded spicy by establishing 4 branches in Yogyakarta. Then, this year also released a bulletin for consumers entitled "Berita Nikmat".
2003Waroeng SS began to improve by determining work standards and equipment used. Likewise with the consumer area which is enhanced by the presence of posters. This year there are also 7 branches that spread spicy in Yogyakarta.
2004Waroeng SS uses neon box media to make easier for Big Boss to find Waroeng SS and provide a hotline service. This year also Waroeng SS tried to provide 2 shift services so that consumers can visit longer.
2005Waroeng SS began to spread spicy in Solo through the Manahan branch. In Yogyakarta a new branch was born, the Monjali branch.
2006It was a glorious year because Waroeng SS began to spread spicy in Semarang, precisely in the area of Sompok and Tembalang. Tangerang was not spared from the spicy spread of Waroeng SS with the presence of the Gading Serpong branch.
2007Still continuing the brilliant work spirit, Waroeng SS expanded its spicy reach to Cirebon, Purwokerto, Malang, Kediri and Salatiga.
2008Waroeng SS wants to be different from the concept of 'Nyambel Sendiri' which consumers can request chillies and other raw ingredients in making chili sauce. It's known as the concept of sambal spiciness level modifying
2009Waroeng SS expanded spicy spreads by presenting spicy branch in Pekalongan and Madiun. Interest of spicy lovers in Salatiga also stimulated birth of The Sudirman Salatiga branch.
2010Achievement year for Waroeng SS because we could establish 9 branches in a year. 2 branches in Semarang, 4 branches in Yogyakarta and 1 branch in each Solo and Malang. This year, a restaurant trial was also opened every day.
2011Waroeng SS was whole 10 years old and invited all employees to Yogyakarta to celebrate together at Parangtritis Beach and Jogja Expo Center. This cheerful event was completed by MarioTeguh performance who share motivations and performance of Vierra.
2012Waroeng SS had established 2 branches on Bali, which were located in Batubulan and Tukad Barito. Waroeng SS also opened branch in Bogor and Tegal.
2013Waroeng SS tried fast-food system with opened a Self Service Fast-Food branch in Jogja City Mall, Yogyakarta. Moreover, Waroeng SS also spreaded spiciness in Jatinangor, Wonogiri, Purwokerto Wiryaatmaja and Wonosari. The consumers appreciation program called 'Spicy Surprise' was also held this year.
2014
Waroeng SS was 13 years old and presented 102 variations of menu to Big Boss . Waroeng SS also had 73 branches spreaded throughout Java and Bali Island.
2015Waroeng SS began to strengthen the quality of menu presentation by centralizing vital raw ingredients to all branches of Waroeng SS. 2016 was special year for us, because we could reach the capital for opening new branch of Tanjung Duren. Jember also became our next new branch opening target.
2016Waroeng SS was 15 years old . We invited all employees again to Yogyakarta to celebrate this achievement together. The addition of branches this year was also interesting because the branch had new concept, that is take away service outlet, named Megatruh, Yogyakarta. Beside that, new branches opened in Bekasi and Cilacap.
2017Waroeng SS changes rapidly into a company that prioritize religion values as its way of business. Beside that, Waroeng SS is ready to step forward to Malaysia. Without forgeting native country, Waroeng SS develops and opens new branches in Uluwatu, Kudus and Surabaya.
2018Waroeng SS start this year with a big leap to establish a branch at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A great achievement for an Indonesia brand and will make us proud. Also, Waroeng SS expand it step to Bandung which widely known for spicy lovers.
2019In 2020, Waroeng SS responded to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by establishing a new business line, namely Waroeng Bahan Dapur (WBD). WBD provides SS's signature spices and ingredients. This initiative allows consumers to continue to enjoy SS's signature flavors at home, while also being an adaptive step in maintaining business continuity amidst difficult situations.
2020In 2021, Waroeng SS focused on strengthening the business foundation through internal improvements by presenting the pre-employment training program "Turah Wani" (A Lot of Courage). This program is a new spirit to rise and rearrange steps to achieve shared prosperity.
2021In 2022, Waroeng SS will again spread its wings by opening a number of new spicy posts in various cities, such as Waroeng SS Kulonprogo, Gatot Subroto Denpasar, Megatruh, Bawen, and Wonosobo. This step is proof of the spirit of expansion and commitment to presenting SS's signature spicy taste closer to customers.
2022Waroeng SS is once again raising hopes by expanding its international reach. After opening its first branch in Malaysia in 2019, in 2022 Waroeng SS added a new branch in Setia Alam Malaysia as a form of commitment to introducing the taste of the archipelago to foreign countries.
2023Waroeng SS carries the spirit of "Competing Globally and Conquering the World", emphasizing a serious determination to go global. After setting foot at the ASEAN level through 2 Waroeng SS in Malaysia since 2019, 2024 marks the readiness to open wider doors to the international market by expanding to Australia on August 20, 2024, namely in Calrton Melbourne Australia. Bringing the spicy taste of SS & Nusantara to the global stage.
